    a good week... - crystal

    Well weigh in was yesterday... and unlike my poor partner I was lucky enough to not have snow yesterday and made it to my lovely weigh in (however there was some worries that streets may be flooded... whats with the damn weather man?).  So I went... scared as hell that I put forth all this work & nothing would come off.  But alas I was wrong... I went down 1.2 pounds, I'm officially down 48 pounds!!!  yay!!  2 pounds away from 50 and I'm going to flordia... crap!  What the heck man... I'm so close and now I gotta go to florida on vacation.  oh lord.  I'm going to try so hard not to be bad while i'm down there.  And I've been commanded to keep my food journal while I'm down there, she also gave me some tips as to what to buy from breakfast & lunch since dinner will probably be eatten out every day.  In preperation for florida (7am friday... i leave 7am friday for WARMTH!) here is the plan for the week:
     
    Today: Pilates & Training session... stay on track
    Wednesday: spin my little butt off (well not little)... stay on track/program for eatting
    Thursday: Mani/Pedi (hehe had to add it), Training session... stay on program
    Friday: LEAVE FOR WARMTH!!  LOTS OF WATER on the plane & when i get down there... the plan is to also go grocery shopping after outlet shopping to prepare for the week
    Saturday - Wednesday: walk at least a mile on the beach each day, do ab/core work b/4 bed and try my damnedest to eat well
     
    Let's hope that plan sticks... I'm so afraid of going over my weight now.  Any good tips as to what to do from home while i'm on vacation?  no jenny food is being brought.

    Way to go woman!! I'm so proud of you! **Hugs** You will definitely do well in Florida! You're soooo close to 50 pounds!!!! If you can, try to plan where you're going to go out to eat in advance. Scope out and print out some menus from local restaurants. See if any of them have nutritional information. Have and plan and stick to it as best you can. And hopefully you don't get stuck in an unexpected blizzard that will screw up your plans! LOL! Just kidding!! You can do this!!!

    You'll have a great time - walking on the beach is a killer workout - you could take some bands to work out with in your room - that's what Jim does - just don't hit yourself in the face like he did this morning!!!
    You will find your self making smarter choices - and you'll be fine!

    Congratulations on 48 pounds!  That's an amazing accomplishment.  As far as tips when on vacation, just try to stick to grilled or steamed foods!  But vacations are hard anyway!  I'm going to Florida at the end of the month and I'm looking forward to it, but not looking forward to the dieting part when I'm down there.  You just have to continue to stay focused and don't go too far off of the diet.  Just have a good time!!
